UrbanScapes were engaged by Queensland Education to complete 2 sports field rectification upgrades at William Ross State High School with the main emphasis of the renovation of upgrading their ovals for better distribution and drainage of water over the fields. The fields were originally damaged back in 2011 from cyclone Yasi.
Project Works
The project including installing 3.5km Megaflo and a commercial irrigation system to approximately 24,580m2. Mound batters to direct overland water flow, installing civil storm water pits, pipes and culverts headwalls and top dressing the oval with 1,500 tonnes of specialised sand.
